Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Filling Station

LNG Equipment

Increasingly, the use of LNG, or liquefied natural gas, is the leading choice of fuel over diesel in the transportation sector of Western Europe. This is due to LNG’s energy density and the large quantity that can be stored.

Our company designed and took part in the construction of Hungary’s first LNG and LCNG filling station. Our company also distributes any of the station’s equipment and supplies.

LNG Tanks

LNG storage tanks are double-walled with vacuum insulation combined with perlite. They also have special external surface treatment, making them suitable for the proper long-term storage of the refrigerated material.
Technical Specifications

  • Capacity: 3 – 150 Sm3
  • Insulation: vacuum insulated combined with perlite
Form: vertical / horizontal cylinder, above ground
    Pressure: 5 / 10 bar
    Operating temperature: -190°C

LNG Dispenser

This improved second-generation product enables the safe, easy and fast filling of LNG. This LNG dispenser can be installed by itself or can be integrated with a self-service fuel terminal.
Technical Specifications

  • Pressure: 3-8 bar
  • Operating temperature: -190°C
Multi-line display panel to show refuelling data and technical parameters.
  • Special LNG hose and filling nozzle.
  • Air gun to help clean the nozzle.
  • Adjustable pressure levels for refuelling.

The product is compatible with different kinds of terminals and protocols of existing systems.

LNG Pumps

For the transport of liquefied natural gas that has been cooled to below -160°C, a special so-called cryogenic corrosion-resistant pump is required.

Technical Specifications

  • Performance: 8 – 340 l/min
  • NPSH: 0.5 – 4 m
  • Delivery height: 15 – 480 m
  • Motor performance: 7.5 – 34 kW

Based on site-specific layouts, the pump is mounted onto a support frame together with the necessary control and safety fittings.

LCNG Pump

LCNG pumps are also special cryogenic devices. The pressure of the LNG is increased to 300 bar and an evaporator equipment helps produce the CNG (compressed natural gas).
Technical Specifications

  • Performance: 4 – 25 l/min
  • Max. inlet pressure: 20 bar
  • Max. outlet pressure: 250 bar
  • Motor performance: 11 – 30 kW

With the help of built-in sensors and transmitters you can remotely monitor the inlet and output pressure, temperature and other technical data.
